A bold architectural gesture — this vertiport
resembles a massive, weathered stone embedded in the
urban landscape. Symbolizing the origin point of a new
aerial era, it appears both ancient and futuristic, as
if discovered rather than built. Its form sparks emotion
and imagination, marking the site as a catalyst for
next-generation urban development .
Architectural & Structural Features: The
free-form structure is based on a spatial steel frame
clad in composite panels with stone-textured relief.
Asymmetrical massing, strong cantilevers, and a central
atrium create dramatic interior volumes. At night,
internal lighting turns the structure into a softly
glowing urban beacon. The interiors contrast the
exterior with sleek surfaces, open volumes, and
programmable modular zones for passenger flows or public
events.

Inspired by the Korean character “ㅅ” (siot) —
representing the human form — this vertiport embodies
balance, structure, and vertical aspiration. Two
inclined planes rise and converge at a single apex,
forming a metaphorical and structural gateway between
land and sky, technology and community. Designed as a
new icon in the UAM skyline, its form is instantly
legible both on the ground and from above.
Architectural & Structural Features: The twin
roof planes are engineered from reinforced steel with
lightweight paneling, forming a resilient load-bearing
shell. One plane doubles as an elevated eVTOL landing
deck with high-temperature resistance and acoustic
dampening. The building's legs house terminal functions:
lobbies, waiting zones, and crew support. Interior
layouts are open and reconfigurable — adaptable for
future multimodal transit, cultural programming, or
drone logistics.

This scalable typology features three "A" —
shaped modules — Architecture × Aviation × Adaptability
— linked by an elevated pedestrian bridge. Each module
operates autonomously: terminal, maintenance hub, or
innovation lab. Together they form a rhythmic,
aerodynamic silhouette recognizable from altitude —
perfect for UAM wayfinding and urban integration
Architectural & Structural Features: Each “A”
structure is supported by diagonal steel frames for wide
column-free spans. High-performance glazed façades
feature embedded lighting, highlighting the rhythm at
night. The connecting bridge is a cantilevered metal
structure with panoramic glazing and vibration
isolation, offering viewing platforms and rest areas.
The modular system allows future expansion in line with
UAM traffic demand and service evolution.

This scalable typology features three "A" — a
universal symbol of beginnings, aspiration, and
architecture. Its triangular geometry ensures structural
stability and aerodynamic efficiency, channeling airflow
upward and minimizing turbulence during takeoff and
landing. The form also pays tribute to the Alatau
mountain silhouette, anchoring the vertiport as a civic
landmark in the emerging UAM network.
Architectural & Structural Features: The building
is based on a V-frame steel truss system that delivers
both strength and lightness, creating a visual
“floating” effect. Tilted glass façades provide thermal
control and noise reduction, crucial for vertiport
operations. Functional zones — including passenger
lounges, operations control, and technical cores — are
housed in the structure’s base supports. The central
atrium supports vertical passenger movement and smart
wayfinding for eVTOL boarding.

At UrbiSky, we develop vertiport infrastructure
projects on a full-cycle basis — from initial planning
and concept visualization to construction, state
coordination, and launch supervision. We approach each
project as a tailored solution for a specific region,
balancing urban logic, technical standards, and
architectural vision.
Our team handles:
-
– Pre-project analysis and feasibility studies
-
– Full 3D modeling, renders, and spatial
planning
-
– Regulatory alignment and negotiations with
authorities
-
– Construction management and on-site execution
-
– Author's supervision and post-launch support
We don’t just design platforms — we help cities
prepare for the future of air mobility by embedding
vertiports into the real fabric of urban life. From
rooftops to remote zones — we build smart, modular, and
scalable infrastructures ready for tomorrow’s
transportation challenges.
